I am from New Mexico. The picture of the mountains above are the Organ Mountains, rich with history and diverse geology. Moving to Florida would be difficult for me since I spent many years exploring the beautiful rocky crags.
I wanted to bring a piece of those mountains to my new home in the Space Coast of Florida. From a rocky crag of these beautiful mountains, I took an impression, with the mission to bring it to life in my home.

It became a reality. Real mountain texture in a special cementitious blend, creating a real stone feel, and long lasting durability.
I gave special attention to the painting of the stone. It not only has to feel real, but look real. The installation was difficult as the piece was cast 64 x 66 inches; very large and heavy. I had wished to create this into a large tile and with a reduced weight. So, I went to work.
Coming soon, is a new wall tile in its largest possible size, to capture the incredible beauty of the natural texture.
